Beneath the moon’s gaze,
you bloom like fireflies—
laughter splashing asphalt
Neon rain in a movie.
Raucous as raw honey
You ooze through the cracks
of my night.
Watching from my window,
Contented ghost sipping tea,
You rewrite the silence
with heavy bass music.
Your chaos is a hymn
I once knew by heart.
Creed of the curbside
Mapping infinity
You kiss the world’s edges
With convenience store coffee.
Your too-loud joy
A time machine humming
Behind my ribs.
You remind me
How we wore the night
Our familiar second skin.
The dark to us
Was not a void
But a velvet question
We devoured
With strong straight teeth.
Keep howling in the silence.
The world needs your holy noise.
